50, moved here from the US and finding that it's hard to legally ride off road / enduro. Looking for a place to ride my Rieju. Currently has no German license plate, but I am getting it registered to be able to ride it on the road at least.

Riding legally in Germany is almost not possible unless you go to official tracks which are less Enduro-like unfortunately.
Also, riding an Enduro bike on the street legally is almost impossible due to various reasons such as exhaust values when the bike is unthrottled.

Thank you. Yes, that's pretty much what I am afraid of. BTW, my exhaust has an EC stamp, which I thought would get me through inspection. But now that you put it this way, I wonder... The bike, a Rieju MR 200 Racing, is stock and street legal (hi-low beam, horn, brake lights, turn signals, speedometer, mirrors). The following year, Rieju removed all the street-legal bits.

Are you riding it with all throttled parts installed? Including catalyst?
This would also mean your bike does only run on the horse power stated in your admission...
You would be the first person I know you rides a throttled sports enduro!
